AmerIKYP wants nfcrx.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion settings.

What we aim for

We build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That is the standard United States federal guidance points to. We treat it as the target for this site.

What is in place today

• Every interactive control on the page can be reached and operated with a keyboard, including the tap demonstration in the hero and the four step chapters beside the explainer video.
• Visible focus outlines on links, buttons and custom controls.
• Text alternatives on images that carry meaning.
• A written transcript of the explainer video. The video has no soundtrack, so its on screen text is the content, and the transcript is how that content reaches anyone who cannot see it.
• Animation and scroll effects respect the operating system's reduce motion setting.
• An accessibility panel on every page offering larger text, higher contrast, underlined links, reduced motion and colour adjustments.
• Page structure built from real headings, lists and landmarks rather than styled text.

What we know is not there yet

Being straight about the gaps is more useful than a clean claim.

• No blind or low vision user has tested this site, and no screen reader has been driven through it end to end. Automated checks find missing semantics. They cannot tell you whether something is usable.
• The analytics dashboard demonstration is a visual sample with a heading order that skips a level.
• Some decorative brand text is set tight, and a few small labels sit near the minimum contrast ratio rather than comfortably above it.

About the accessibility panel

The panel on this site is a convenience for visitors. It is not a compliance product and we do not present it as one. An overlay cannot repair an inaccessible page, and no widget makes a website legally compliant. What matters is the page underneath, which is where our work goes.
